The History of Weston & North Somerset DIAL

 

Weston & North Somerset DIAL was formed in November 1979.  It started its life with very little money and had its office at The Red Cross Depot for 4 years. DIAL then moved to “Roselawn” and time-shared with Horizon and Woodspring Association for The Blind.

 

Woodspring Association for The Blind soon found other premises and DIAL shared the office with Horizon until June 2004.

 

Weston & North Somerset DIAL has always been manned by volunteers. It is affiliated to DIAL UK which is a registered charity.  Weston & North Somerset DIAL is not a registered charity and is known as a voluntary service.

 

 Weston & North Somerset DIAL is affiliated with DIAL UK, reg. Charity no. 1121294
